It's Nice to be Nice at Xmas!

The season of goodwill is well underway with the Manor Farm Silver Scheme! Their famous Xmas party was a smash hit with over 100 people enjoying a festive feast, presents from Santa in his Grotto and great entertainment from Everley Brothers’ tribute band – ‘The Elderlies!’
The Silver Scheme is supported financially by the BIG Lottery; and the staff and dozens of volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a fabulous time. And it really was appreciated.
The Manor Farm Centre has been inundated with telephone calls, messages of goodwill and Christmas cards by the sackfull – all saying how much people had enjoyed the Christmas party and how they were looking forward to continued support from the Silver Scheme team in 2016.

The good news is that the Silver Scheme will be going from strength to strength next year; and with nearly 70 volunteers offering transport, befriending, lunch clubs, gardening and many, many more services to older people Manor Farm charity will be meeting more friends and making more people happier and healthier than ever before.
