Walking is always better than Talking

A nice group of people got together recently and started talking about getting fit, losing weight and enjoying some healthy exercise.  They also said they didn't want to 'go mad,' join a gym, pay for personal trainers or buy expensive training gear. Afternoon Tea with the Mayor

Floristry - a Bloomin' Success

Manor Farm were invited to the recent opening of a fabulous new floristry shop this month - which just happens to showcase an astounding young florist called Leigh Park. A Living Memory

Our volunteers recently helped a party of Silver Scheme older people enjoy a visit to the Pelsall History Society as part of the ‘Living memory’ project to commemorate the Battle of the Somme that took place 100 years ago. The ‘Living Memory’ is a project by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the Big Ideas Company that ensures that the 1.7 million people who died in the two world wars will never be forgotten. Bowled Over!

Our Silver Scheme Co-ordinator organised two fabulous lunchtime ventures down the pub this week - all in the name of keeping fit and healthy!   The excuse was to play skittles and have a hearty lunch - washed down with the tipple of their choice.
